The Professional Community would like to thank you for your time and effort in the organization and presentation of the California Extreme Precipitation Symposium. The nearly quarter century of focused attention on the unique aspects of extreme precipitation in California, the latest research, new applications of technology, and historical perspective has greatly benefitted the community.

Gary is the founder and program coordinator of the California Extreme Precipitation Symposium. Since 1994, he has pulled together science and technology researchers, consultants, and students to share information about flood risk, flood management, flood events, and extreme precipitation in general throughout California.
